About This Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. As an IT Operational Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the overall IT risk program, including identification, evaluation, and mitigation of IT operational risks.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the identification of existing and emerging IT operational risks
• Creating risk reporting for key governance committees
• Facilitating identification and reporting of transversal loss events and escalations through the loss reporting process
• Responsibility for ensuring risk mitigation plans bring any risks into tolerance
• Working with senior technology managers to provide a view of the risk profile for their function
• Coordinating IT input into Information Risk Management assessments

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT operational risks are effectively managed and that our organization's risk profile is aligned with its strategic objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in IT risk management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• IT risk experience
• Proven influencing and negotiation skills
• Pragmatic approach to problem solving and issue resolution
• Operational risk management experience
• Experience influencing senior management and stakeholders
• Ability to process, collate, and present data
• Knowledge of risk frameworks

Benefits:
In addition to a competitive annual salary of £37,500 - £44,000 dependent on experience, you will also receive discretionary company and performance-based bonus, contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions), life assurance (up to 10 x annual salary), 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leave.
