About the Role

Solus Aviva is seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Engineer to join our team. As a Motor Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preserving consistency and delivering exceptional customer service across our market-leading business and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

As a Motor Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and damage assessments
  • Authorizing repairs to our Approved Repairer Network and Customer Nominated Repairers
  • Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Building strong relationships with our Solus sites and approved repairers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Member of either IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA or be working towards (or willing to do so)
  • Motor Claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principles
  • Good working knowledge of computerized damage estimating systems, including Audatex
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
