We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Connexzia's new nursery in Eastcote. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of childcare professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the highest standards of care and education
- Work closely with the management team to achieve the nursery's goals and objectives
- Ensure the nursery is a safe and healthy environment for children and staff
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider community
- Full and relevant Childcare qualification at a minimum of Level 3
- Previous experience working as a Room Leader is essential
- Good ICT skills are essential
- Ability to be a positive role model for your team
- Effectively lead and manage the staff team in the classrooms
- Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS, Ofsted, and welfare requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion, motivation, and the ability to work well within a team
- Adaptability to a fun and inspiring working environment
- A current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate

A typical day in this role will involve working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily. You will also be responsible for observing, assessing, and planning for the children's individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and creating opportunities for children to progress.
