We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Brewery Technician to join our team at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. As a Brewery Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our award-winning beers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor state-of-the-art brewing systems to produce high-quality beers.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure that all beers meet quality standards.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all brewing skills, including brewing, cellar, and filtration.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of process equipment.
- Monitor and report on product and equipment performance.
- Communicate effectively with other brewing team members and supporting production teams.
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in brewing/fermentation preferred.
- Professional brewing experience and basic mechanical repair experience preferred.
- Availability and flexibility to work early morning, afternoon, or night shifts, including weekends and occasional holidays.
- Forklift certification within 90 days required.
- Narrow Isle Lift Certification within 90 days required.
- Scissor Lift Certification within 90 days required.
- Boom Lift Certification within 90 days required.
- Cart Caddy Certification within 90 days required.
We offer a competitive hourly compensation rate of $16.74 to $30.16, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications, and geographical location. We also provide a generous 10% company match on 401(k) contributions, learning and development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, an onsite medical clinic, and mental health and well-being benefits.
