Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to lead our Acute Medicine department. As a Clinical Leadership Specialist, you will be responsible for providing strong local clinical leadership and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team
  • Undertake duties as identified to meet the needs of the service
  • Participate in the Consultant on-call rota and provide emergency cover for colleagues
  • Carry out teaching duties and contribute to the Postgraduate Medical Education programme
  • Attend department team meetings and participate in audits and research
  • Contribute to the management of the Acute Medicine Service and continue professional development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will also need to have a strong commitment to delivering outstanding care and a willingness to participate in audits and research.
