Job Overview

The Royal Air Force is seeking a highly skilled Air Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Air Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of air traffic control systems.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate airspace for military and civilian aircraft
  • Assist in the scrambling of Quick Reaction Alert Typhoon jets
  • Identify and track foreign missile launches and surveillance satellites
  • Manage aircraft mission planning systems and aeronautical data
Requirements
  • Be aged 16 – 47 years old (Must attest before 48th birthday)
  • Have GCSEs at Grade C/4 or Scottish National 5 at Grade C in English Language and Mathematics
  • Meet the health and fitness criteria
  • Pass a Fitness test
