About the Role

This teaching assistant position involves working with students in a creative way on a one-to-one basis, focusing on preparing them for adulthood. You will also support students at local farms, work placements, and other non-educational organizations.

  • Located in Southwark, London
  • Full time - Monday to Thursday, with the option of working Fridays
  • Long term opportunity with job security
  • Supporting students in class ranging from 6 - 8 students per class
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing students' academic and social skills through creative approaches such as art or music
  • Teaching numeracy, with a primary focus on the importance of movement and becoming more independent
  • Supporting students within the community and preparing students for work placements
Requirements
