Ecology Manager Opportunity

Lead Careers is seeking an experienced Ecologist to fill the role of Ecology Manager. This position requires a mix of project management and fieldwork, with a focus on delivering ecology projects through a framework of subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of ecology projects, including project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Conduct fieldwork, such as bat inspections and ecological scoping surveys.
  • Provide advice on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with the heritage, landscape, planning, and archaeology teams to deliver projects across various sectors.

About the Role:

This is a fully home-working position, with occasional site visits and meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing ecology projects and be able to work independently. A background in ecology, environmental science, or a related field is essential.
