About the Role

The Bridge Project works in partnership with other organizations to deliver an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford and Craven District. The service aims to help people tackle the misuse of alcohol and drugs and reduce risk-taking behaviors through dedicated prevention, intervention, and support.

We are looking for a Concerned Other Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with individuals who may be affected by someone else's substance misuse, providing brief interventions, assessing needs and risk, and offering a structured program of individual support.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience of working in a social care setting, managing a caseload, and have good listening and communication skills. They will also be highly organized, able to manage their time effectively, and have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions and services.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience of working in a social care setting
  • Good listening and communication skills
