**Job Title:** Educational Teaching Assistants

About the Role: An experienced special school in Shepton Mallet is looking for a skilled Learning Support Professional. The ideal candidate will have worked as a support worker, in-class support worker or a Learning Support Advisor previously. You may have a related qualification or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) in a special school setting
  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality educational services
  • To contribute to the development of individualized education plans for students with SEN
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of SEN laws and regulations

  • A competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum
