Job Title: Environmental Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at Tetra Tech. As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in our Noise, Air Quality, Lighting and Odour (NALO) business, working on a variety of projects that involve environmental noise and vibration assessment, building acoustics, occupational noise and hygiene, air quality and microclimate, environmental lighting, and odour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate monitoring plans, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Organize and review monitoring data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project delivery, including managing project finances, invoicing, and procurement of equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies with clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys, using technical equipment to collect and analyze data.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as environmental science, acoustics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in environmental noise and vibration assessment, building acoustics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional overnight stays and weekend/evening work.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel.
