Petrophysicist Role Overview

Leap29 seeks a highly skilled Petrophysicist for a full-time position in London. The ideal candidate will possess 10–15 years of experience in petrophysics, specifically in CCS, oil production, exploration, and development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform advanced petrophysical analyses for CCS and hydrocarbon projects.
  2. Analyze well logs, core data, and reservoir information.
  3. Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers on multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Manage workflows independently and deliver results efficiently.
  5. Communicate directly with clients, providing actionable insights.
  6. Conduct reservoir studies, optimize recovery, and support CCS strategies.
  7. Stay up-to-date with petrophysical innovations to enhance project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
  • Well-log interpretation and tool proficiency (Techlog or Petrel).
  • Experience working in the UKCS or other international basins.
