Credit Control Team Leader

At Informa, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join our Global Support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of credit control professionals in collecting all monies owing to Informa within credit control policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of credit control professionals in collecting all monies owing to Informa within credit control policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to minimize unallocated cash items and ensure collection targets are met.
- Build and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and customers, to ensure effective communication and resolution of customer queries.
- Manage complex disputes and escalate higher-level disputes to the Credit & Collections Manager.
- Provide weekly reports to the business detailing current levels of debt and ensure timely submission of month-end reports.
- Proven experience in credit control and collections, with a strong understanding of O2C processes and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of acquisitions and disposals, with the ability to manage competing priorities and achieve targets.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to use relevant internal systems.
