About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Sussex County Football Association. As CEO, you will be responsible for leading our organisation and driving our strategic direction, culture, and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy in Sussex and the Sussex County FA Business Strategy.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation and spearhead our strategic direction and culture.
  • Act as an ambassador for grassroots football across the County.
  • Lead the team to meet the compliance requirements for safeguarding within the Association.
  • Oversee effective safeguarding delivery across grassroots football in Sussex.

Requirements
  • Experience in transformational change.
  • A passion for grassroots sport.
  • Ability to work with and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic leadership roles.
