About the Role

Xpress Haulage LTD is seeking a reliable and hardworking HGV Driver to join our team. As a driver with our company, you will enjoy a fixed contract with guaranteed working shifts, allowing you to plan your life with certainty.

As a driver with Xpress Haulage LTD, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • No unloading/loading required - relax in the break room area while the warehouse staff handle this task.
  • Driving only from site to site.
  • Traction work only - drop/swap trailers, with an average of 4 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers mainly.

HGV Driver Requirements

  • Hold a valid commercial driving licence with the correct categories C + E (CLASS 1).
  • Have a professional driving qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional competence.
  • Hold a digital tachograph/smart card.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Be able to read and speak basic English.
  • Have a maximum of 6 points on the driving licence (as well as no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
  • In return, we offer £38,500 per annum, paid as an hourly rate (weekly).
  • 4 on 2 off, with a mix of days, nights, and weekends.
