Job Title: Senior Support Worker - Residential Service

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
  • Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
  • Ensuring compliance within the service.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
  • Senior Support Worker Experience
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care
