Astute People is collaborating with a major Power Company to recruit an Electrically biased Multi-skilled Technician for its Suffolk site.

The salary for this position is approximately £39,000 + a comprehensive benefits package.

This multi-disciplinary role involves:

Maintenance Responsibilities
  • Fault finding, installing, and maintaining instrumentation systems, which include pressure, temperature, flow, and level control systems.
  • Ensuring the correct functioning of continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS).
  • Managing accurate maintenance records using the site's CMMS.
  • Supervising on-site contractors when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you must hold:

  • A recognized Electrical Engineering qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or HNC.
  • At least four years of experience working in a maintenance team within a heavy process setting.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical fault-finding techniques applicable to heavy process environments.
