About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Dance Teacher to join our team at Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and improving the skills of our students, while encouraging positive learning and a love for dance and movement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach dance and music classes to students aged 11-19
  • Develop and implement individual education and behavior plans
  • Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and other staff to ensure consistency
  • Contribute to the overall program of learning for each pupil
  • Have proven experience of teaching children with ASD in a primary or secondary setting
  • Experience in teaching music and dance to a wide range of pupils
Requirements
  • QTS or QTLS status
  • Experience in teaching children with complex needs
  • Ability to make a significant contribution to our school
