Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at our Peterborough depot. As an experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, carrying out fault diagnosis and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Benefits: In addition to a competitive salary (£28-£40 per hour), you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including 22 days holiday (plus stats), rising to 25 days (plus stats) after 5 years service. Other benefits include excellent training and development opportunities, HGV driving licence training, pension, death in service life insurance scheme, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance program.

Requirements: Previous experience working as a heavy vehicle technician or mechanic, qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, time served heavy vehicle technician. Ability to participate in breakdowns, skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork, full UK driving licence. Various shifts available including day, night and weekend shifts.
