Job Title: Automotive Workshop Controller

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Workshop Controller to join our team at Computacenter (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our automotive workshop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage workflow to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of services.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of engineers to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
  3. Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Collaborate with the FLS Management Team to achieve local objectives and deliver results.
  5. Identify and develop talent within the team, providing training and development opportunities.
  6. Ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards and maintain a 6S workplace organization.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, engineers, and management.
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental metrics.
  9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the team.
  10. Represent the department during FLS tours and promote the company's values and culture.
Requirements:
  1. Strong leadership and management skills.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to motivate and develop a team.
  4. Experience in workflow management and process improvement.
  5. Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and 6S workplace organization.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  8. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  9. Proactive approach to self-development and continuous learning.
