About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Part Time Charity Administrator to join our team at Prax Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our charity, Roots.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of existing projects, including hostels, collection boxes, food banks, and clothes collections.
  • Fundraising through auctions, events, and other initiatives.
  • Identifying new causes for the Foundation to support.
  • Raising the profile of Roots within the Prax Group and organizing 'Roots Day' events.
  • Participation in the Foundation Steering Committee.
  • Liaison with stakeholders, including donors and auditors.
  • Monthly meetings and presentations to the PFS board.
  • Management of the school breakfast scheme.
  • Quarterly workshops to raise the Roots profile.
  • Engagement with food banks and donations to appeals.
  • Responsibility for banking and payments on Roots bank accounts.
  • Management of the Roots budget.
Requirements
  • Outstanding organizational, administration, and social media skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience in organizing events, public relations, and planning budgets.
