We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Team Leader to join our team at Yorkshire Housing. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting your colleagues, ensuring that everyone works seamlessly together across all areas of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of environmental services professionals to deliver high-quality services to our customers.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Manage and maintain a high level of health and safety standards across all areas of the business.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Recognized qualification or equivalent experience in horticultural, landscape maintenance, community-based services.
- Experience of arboricultural works, climbing, and aerial rescue.
- Experience of trailer and plant towing.
- Relevant people management experience or experience in recruiting and training.
- Ability to plan and prioritize the team's daily workloads.
- A valid UK driving license is an essential requirement.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- A display of many of the relevant behaviors set out in Yorkshire Housing's values.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £35,821 per annum for a 35-hour week.
- 25 days annual leave (raising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
- A £2,000 car allowance with this role.
