We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Equipment Technician to join our Technical department at Selecta, the largest provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food in Europe.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our equipment to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall improvement of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review multiple fault equipment continually and ensure that any machine displaying persistent breakdowns is given the highest priority regarding repair
  • Ensure access to the technical manuals/documentation relevant to the equipment you are servicing/maintaining
  • Attend various training courses to maintain the highest standard of workmanship
  • Maintain good customer relations by adopting a pleasant manner at all times and adhering to customer procedures
  • Be aware of potential cases of customer dissatisfaction and take appropriate action (repair machine, seek assistance from Senior Engineer/Service Managers) to avoid potential dissatisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full UK driving licence with at least 12 months' driving experience and no more than 6 points
