About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Commission Assistant to provide crucial support to the Commission's activities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Head of Secretariat to ensure the smooth running of meetings, evidence sessions, and advisory group activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, circulating papers, and minute-taking
  • Plan logistics for evidence sessions, such as booking venues and catering
  • Assist with publication design, proofing, and distribution
  • Support the development of systems for contact management and evidence logging
  • Conduct small research and analysis tasks for the Head of Policy Analysis

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrable experience in organizing meetings and events
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in setting up and managing systems
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
  • A degree or equivalent experience
