Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Verto People. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading on-site projects across the UK, developing specifications, managing contractors, and overseeing the installation of bespoke engineering equipment, with a focus on LEV/HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of extended on-site installations, including arranging specifications and coordinating with internal departments, contractors, and the service team.
- Work on and supervise installation engineers on electrical systems related to solutions for dust control, fume extraction, ventilation, noise barriers, water treatment, environmental monitoring, and climate control.
- Manage and oversee the installation of complex engineering systems, such as LEV and HVAC, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact on-site, liaising with clients, site agents, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to ensure installations are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct detailed site surveys, prepare risk assessments, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations throughout the project.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in installation engineering, particularly in leading complex, long-term site projects.
- Strong expertise in Electrical Engineering, with a deep understanding of LEV/HVAC systems or complex technical engineering solutions and industry standards, predominantly working in and around construction and engineering sites.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal departments, contractors, and service teams, to ensure project success.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and direct on-site teams.
- Electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar, BS7671 18th Edition, Inspection, and test, ECS gold card, CSCS Card or similar).
- A full clean UK driving license.
- Fully remote role, covering the UK Wide, willingness to stay away for extended periods.
Package:
- £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience plus OTE.
