Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team in Worthing. As a residential care worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and promoting independence, life skills, and emotional growth among young people with EBD.

The role involves working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents while contributing to a positive and growth-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, updating care records, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Engaging in recreational and educational activities to enhance development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special needs or in childcare, education, family support settings is preferred.
  • A strong commitment and desire to bring about positive change in the lives of children and young people in care.
  • A Level 3 NVQ in health and social care is desirable.
  • Possessing a driving license is also desirable.
