Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maths and English tutor to join our team at the British Academy of Jewellery. As a key member of our Teaching & Learning department, you will play a vital role in delivering Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths to our students.

About the Role:

  • To teach and assess Functional Skills English / Maths to young people on vocational programmes
  • Devise a programme of learning (scheme of work) with appropriate teaching and learning strategies, resources, and assessments
  • Maintain attendance registers and update as required;

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 or 4 CTLLS or Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training;
  • Functional Skills English and Math Level 2 or equivalent GCSE
  • Ability to prepare effective written and visual teaching materials in line with course requirements;
