About the Job:
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Design Engineer to join our client's team in Ashford. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing machinery, working closely with the technical director and existing technical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated industrial design environments and a strong understanding of pneumatics, PLC, and electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  1. Mechanical design and development of machinery and equipment
  2. Production of new component and assembly drawings using SolidWorks
  3. Specifying machinery contents and generating bills of materials for production release
  4. Maintenance of existing design data, including processing ECNs and conversion from 2D to 3D CAD
  5. Experience with filling and capping machinery (desirable)
