We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Early Years Practitioner to join our team at the University of Bath. Our campus offers a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop to their full potential.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality childcare and education appropriate to the age and stage of development of the children. You will work to maintain a safe, secure, and caring environment, and be required to complete tasks in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in providing high-quality childcare and education
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and caring environment
  • Complete tasks in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Maintain children's records and carry out assessments

Requirements:

  • Good team player with sound communication and organisation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Relevant qualifications (minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or above)
  • Ability to work in a team to observe, assess, and plan as a key person
