NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Audio Typist/Clerical Officer within the Medicine Directorate at Ninewells Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately transcribe audio recordings and maintain medical records with high attention to detail.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and other clerical duties.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical terminology and hospital IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Excellent keyboard skills and accuracy in typing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in medical record processing and hospital IT systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, due to the reduction in full-time working hours, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
