About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Litigation Lawyer to join our team at Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector as a Team Leader.

The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation and be looking to step up into a team leader role or develop their skills to eventually become a team leader.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation in relation to litigation and regulatory work, including possession claims, anti-social behaviour claims, disrepair claims, taxi licensing, premises licensing, and environmental offences.

As a team leader, the candidate will also be responsible for supervising and developing staff within the legal team, admin team, and information governance team.

The role involves a mix of remote working and in-person attendance, including team days and meetings, as well as court attendance as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and representation in relation to litigation and regulatory work
  • Supervise and develop staff within the legal team, admin team, and information governance team
  • Assist the Head of Legal and Support Services and Legal Services Team Manager on other legal matters as required

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or barrister with experience in litigation. Local Authority Law is preferred, and a full UK driving licence is required.
