Job Summary

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal/Conveyancing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our residential property department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our solicitors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with solicitors to provide administrative support and assistance with conveyancing matters
  • Communicate with clients to take instructions and open files
  • Draft contracts and other legal documents
  • Conduct research and provide information to clients and solicitors
  • Apply for land searches and review title documents
  • Deal with pre-contract enquiries and search reports
  • Prepare bills and completion statements for sales and purchases
  • Coordinate completions and post-completion work, including serving notices on leasehold properties
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's recent experience in residential property
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client care
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
