Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to join our team at Prism Digital. As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and auditing data sources and systems, setting up a data council, and building a data governance platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Audit Data Sources: You will be responsible for identifying and auditing all data sources and systems within the organization, including management information systems and monetizable data assets.
  • Set Up Data Council: You will establish a data council to define data quality standards, create data quality metrics, and develop documentation, guidelines, and policies for data management.
  • Build Data Governance Platform: You will build a data governance platform using data lineage and catalogue tools, such as Collibra, Purview, Atlan, and Castor.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: You must have previous experience as a Data Governance Manager, Lead, or Specialist.
  • Experience with Governance Frameworks: You must have experience implementing governance frameworks/methodologies, such as DAMA-DMBOK and DCAM.
  • Data Management Tools: You must have experience working with data management and governance tools, such as Collibra, Purview, Atlan, and Castor.
  • Cloud Data Tech Stack: You must have experience working with a modern cloud data tech stack, including Snowflake, Azure, DBT, and Fivetran.
  • Business Data Sources: You must have experience establishing data governance processes in business data sources, such as Salesforce, Marketo, and NetSuite.
  • Persuasion and Communication: You must be able to persuade and sell data governance concepts to resistant team members.
