Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Goods In Operator to join our Logistics team at Teledyne UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of deliveries, including loading and underloading of vehicles, checking condition of deliveries, and checking the delivery note matches what has been delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a positive Health and Safety mindset and be quality driven.
  • Work as part of a team but also autonomously, managing your own time and workload efficiently.
  • Communicate relevant information to the Team Leader, the manager, procurement, and supply chain where appropriate, identifying constraints and other issues to be addressed.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Able to complete various manual handling tasks.
  • Ensure that goods are booked in, in a timely manner.
  • Use our SAP system to conduct various transactions as part of the Goods In process.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the work instructions, and in line with Health and Safety Instructions.
  • Problem solving and escalating as and when required.

Requirements

  • Full Training is provided.
  • Basic level of competence when using computers.
  • Effective communication.
  • Organisational mindset.
  • Attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Experience with SAP (ERP), or equivalent, would be an advantage but training will be provided.
  • Competent using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, would be an advantage.
  • Fork Truck trained (training will be provided).
