Rullion Limited, a leading recruitment agency, seeks an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be based in Oxfordshire and will have the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects related to fusion energy.

The Environmental Advisor role is critical to the future of clean energy and sustainability at Rullion Limited. As part of a pioneering team, you will leverage your expertise to guide environmental and sustainability strategies for various projects. This unique opportunity offers a chance to shape environmental policies within one of the most forward-thinking sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the environmental discipline's expert, leading major programmes such as JET Decommissioning & Repurposing, and other engineering projects.
  • Environment & Sustainability Strategy: Define and communicate the environmental and sustainability strategy across senior leadership and within project teams.
  • Intelligent Customer Role: Develop scoping and procurement strategies for outsourced environmental studies, ensuring alignment with Rullion Limited's objectives.
  • Environmental Integration: Embed environmental requirements into engineering projects through Best Available Techniques (BAT) workshops and Environmental Impact Identification (ENVID) planning.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Degree or equivalent in a relevant field; environmental or engineering qualifications preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Proven track record in environmental management for large, complex programmes, with expert knowledge of environmental and sustainability legislation.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on experience.
