Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Operative with HGV experience to join our team at Adler and Allan Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Company vehicles, including HGVs, and other vehicles as required.
  • Complete works to client satisfaction, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Secure and clean all Company vehicles, equipment, and tools, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Uplift and offload products and materials correctly, prioritizing health and safety and adhering to working practices.
  • Comply with Company health and safety policy, including RAMS documentation, PPE, and accident reporting.
  • Submit digital job sheet reports before leaving site, collecting customer signatures, photos, and details, including consignment and duty of care documentation.
  • Return hard copy paperwork daily to the office as required.
  • Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and further Company services.
  • Liaise with supervision regarding all works, recommending improvements or opportunities.
  • Perform surface preparation and spray lining using equipment as trained and competent.
  • Assist in delivering Civils, ground works, construction, and remediation projects.
  • Support the delivery of Environmental Protection and Industrial Services works, including surface preparation and spray lining.

About You:

  • Must possess knowledge and experience of completing RAMS documentation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment is highly advantageous.
  • A willingness to work in an environment of change, dealing with emergency works, is essential.
  • A flexible approach to working hours is needed due to the nature of the role and response duties.
  • Full Clean UK driving licence is required.
  • Will to work away for extended periods, including travel, hotel stays, and shift working.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required to meet depot needs.
  • Must be a great team member, capable of supporting colleagues in challenging times.
  • Experience of operating plant is a major advantage.
  • Must demonstrate competency, knowledge, and experience gained in multiple disciplines and relative qualifications.
