About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housing Revenue Accountant to join our team in Devon, England. As a specialist in revenue accounting, you will be responsible for business partnering with non-finance stakeholders, preparing and monitoring monthly budget reports, and providing financial advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including budget monitoring and forecasting.
  • Provide expert financial advice and guidance to support business decisions.
  • Manage and complete grant claims and statistical returns.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc projects and provide financial support as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in Housing Revenue, ideally gained in a local government or housing provider organization. CCAB qualification is desirable, but not essential. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
