About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Eco-Friendly Project Manager to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our Environment & Sustainability business, you will be responsible for managing environmental aspects of infrastructure development projects from early strategy development to scheme operation and maintenance.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from energy generation and transmission to highway improvements and greenway projects. Our team is passionate about delivering sustainable legacies for generations to come, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental aspects of infrastructure development projects from early strategy development to scheme operation and maintenance.
  • Work with technical experts to identify environmental constraints, impact avoidance and mitigation solutions, as well as opportunities to deliver benefits.
  • Collaborate with integrated design teams to improve the environmental outcomes of our projects.
  • Promote AECOM's environmental services to both internal and external audiences.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters degree) and an appropriate professional membership.
  • EIA consultancy experience, including coordinating the preparation of environmental reports and the technical review of specialist chapters.
  • Developing project management skills, including programming and budget management.
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
  • Efficient verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing, and confidence when engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
