About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Bank Support Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of annual leave, training or sickness.

As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes in the community with disabilities and/or additional support needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting with all aspects of daily living, such as meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care.

You will also provide emotional support and assist individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends. We encourage active interest in the hobbies and interests of the people we support, enabling them to explore new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and personal care
  • Provide emotional support and maintain relationships with family and friends
  • Support individuals to engage in hobbies and interests
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support
