Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our Orthopaedic and Spinal Unit at The London Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of patient-centered care, leading by example and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions are in line with evidence-based practices.
  • Take a senior role within the ward, providing leadership and mentorship to more junior members of staff.
  • Promote safe practice and professional conduct, and be competent in the recognition of life-threatening/emergency situations.
  • Organise workload in-line with clinical priorities, and establish good working relationships with specialist practitioners and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the effective care and treatment of patients.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Post-registration acute surgical ward experience with sound evidence-based knowledge in general nursing, and familiar with a variety of Nursing models.
  • Previous experience in orthopaedics and spinal surgery.
  • Effective interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills and respectful to a diverse range of patients from various cultures and backgrounds.
