**About the Role**

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Chubb's Reinsurance Technical Services Team as a Senior Reinsurance Technician. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate initial registration of all reinsurance policies purchased for Chubb's EMEA wholesale underwriting businesses that operate in the Lloyd's and London company underwriting markets.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Work closely with the Reinsurance Technical Services Team to ensure the smooth administration of reinsurance policies, including premium adjustments, accounting, and reporting.
• Prepare renewal information and engage with underwriters, claims handlers, the RI placement team, actuaries, Financial Planning & Analysis, and financial reporting teams.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Treaty and internal and external auditors.

**Requirements & Experience**

• Qualified by experience or educated to graduate level.
• Strong knowledge and experience of RI contract management, ideally from a London market wholesale business (underwriter or broker).
• Specialist knowledge of excess of loss reinsurance an advantage.
• People management experience, including performance management oversight, preferred.
• Good knowledge across reinsurance and insurance.
• Customer service attitude and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized and able to set and follow up on task deadlines, self-motivated, and able to work well in a small team.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo.
