About the Role

Daniel Thwaites Head Office is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shire Horse Handler. As a key member of our equine team, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our four Shire horses.

  • Provide exceptional care and attention to the horses' physical and mental health.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the horses' skills and abilities are maintained and improved.
  • Work closely with our in-house team to ensure the horses' dietary and nutritional needs are met.
  • Assist with the transportation of the horses to events and destinations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and discipline in the stables and when handling the horses.
  • Represent Daniel Thwaites at PR events and customer premises, providing excellent customer service and promoting our brand.

About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for horses and a strong understanding of their care and management. You will have experience working with horses, either in a professional or personal capacity, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
