Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workshop Stores Assistant to join our team at Exeter Airport. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of stock from Goods In to despatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from works orders and drawings to ensure efficient stock replenishment and production.
  • Pick and pack items ready for shipping, maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels and preserving product quality from receipt to despatch.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to HSE and Quality Policies.
  • Support lean activities and optimize resource usage.

About You:

  • Experience in stores and stock management, with a strong understanding of inventory control.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Able to lift and load safely, with a valid driving license (desirable).

Working Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm.
  • £11.60 per hour, with monthly company performance reviews.

What We Offer:

A brand-new subsidised canteen facility and a fully inclusive team working environment. Due to the site location, own transport is required to access the site.

Requirements:

  • Pro-active team worker with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate within company policy and procedure requirements.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business, with adherence to health and safety legislation.
