Job Title: Senior Risk Analyst

Adway Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our UK Risk Division. As a key member of the Provisions & Forecasting team, you will play a critical role in estimating credit loss reserves and forecasting future credit losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the implementation of credit impairment models, including ongoing maintenance and change processes.
  2. Develop and maintain analytics dashboards, monitoring tools, and management information reports.
  3. Collaborate with other risk areas, such as forecasting, portfolio management, and collections.
  4. Track and implement changes resulting from onsite inspections, internal and external audit feedback, and data migrations.
  5. Prepare and present results to governance forums and committees.
  6. Engage with external auditors to support successful audits.
  7. Support internal audit activities and close internal validation points.
  8. Review and challenge next-generation credit risk provisioning models.
  9. Maintain process documentation and deputise for the Manager.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of local market dynamics, key players, and current market pressures.
  2. Understanding of forbearance activities and strategies.
  3. Knowledge of risk management regulation and guidelines on loss reserve methodologies and accounting standards.
  4. Advanced Excel skills.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Relevant academic qualification.
  7. Recognised professional certification.
