We are seeking an exceptional Embedded Systems Lead to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD, based in Guildford. As a leading provider of computing systems for space satellites and telecommunications, we require a strong technical background in embedded systems and telecommunications in the space industry.

Job Overview

This is a hands-on engineering role that will progress into a Lead Engineer position, where you will be responsible for building a technical team around you. Your primary objective will be to manage the entire product development lifecycle, from inception to production, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

You will be expected to push innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering teams, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. Additionally, you will develop and implement engineering strategies and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary R&D team developing digital telecom payloads and embedded systems for satellite applications
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering teams
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and best practices
Requirements
  • Experience or desire to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams developing embedded systems, particularly for space applications
  • Knowledge and experience in developing cellular networks
  • Experience in leading a system architecture stage of a project
Salary and Benefits
