Job Summary:

As a Class 2 Driver at GXO Logistics, Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis. This position requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Products: Safely and efficiently deliver products to customer premises, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Accurately record driving and working time using the Tachomaster system and manual entries, ensuring compliance with WTD regulations.
  • Operate Company Vehicles: Safely operate company vehicles in a legal and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and customers receive the correct products and delivery documentation, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner, keeping them informed of their estimated time of delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries is preferable but not essential.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license with category C entitlement is required.
  • Penalty Points: No more than 6 penalty points on your license (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT endorsements).
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph: An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph are required.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • DBS Check: A willingness to undertake a pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check) is required.
