About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Regional Pump Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our regional team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our region by ensuring that our customers can hire the equipment they need, when they need it, through the efficient servicing and maintenance of our submersible pumps and services equipment.

The Role

As a Regional Pump Specialist, you will be responsible for traveling across our regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment, including submersible pumps, hoses/cables, control panels, and generators. You will also be responsible for accurately updating service records and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience within a pump engineer role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
  • Sound and current knowledge of submersible pumps
  • 18th Edition/City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A customer-focussed approach and a committed team player
  • A valid driving licence is essential
