Job Title: Senior Commercial Placing Broker

About the Role:
  • Assist with broking network members' risks into the market and secure the best terms and coverage.
  • Deal with documentation queries and ensure network members are supported.
  • Proactively develop relationships with network members to ensure new business enquiries flow through to the placement team.
  • Work with members to expand and develop their clients' coverage.
  • Liaise with the senior broking placing brokers and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Actively negotiate with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms.
  • Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
  • Ensure Retention levels and income targets are achieved.
  • Work with the regional management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues.

  • You'll have a solid grounding across the Commercial Insurance market and be looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You'll be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You'll be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication, negotiation, sales, and IT skills.
