Job Title: Class 1 LGV Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 LGV driver to join our team in Hull. As a Class 1 LGV driver, you will be responsible for transporting bulk powders across the UK, adhering to all road safety regulations and maintaining a high level of awareness and compliance with all relevant legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of bulk powders across the UK.
  • Perform daily Vehicle and Trailer Safety Maintenance checks before commencing any journey.
  • Accurately complete and maintain all relevant paperwork, including delivery notes, driving logs, and compliance records.
  • Ensure that all bulk powder cargo is safely loaded and unloaded according to company procedures and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and site staff during deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
  • Must hold a current and valid LGV Class One (Category C+E) driving license.
  • Must have completed the required Driver CPC training and hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
  • Must possess a valid digital tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in transporting bulk powders is highly preferred.
