Job Overview: Our client, a renowned specialist in heritage conservation, is seeking an experienced Senior Heritage Engineer to join their team. This role will involve working on various conservation projects, collaborating with partners and engineers to deliver exceptional results. A strong passion for heritage and conservation is essential, as well as excellent writing, speaking, and sketching skills. The ideal candidate will be CARE registered or working towards accreditation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the heritage work on conservation projects, collaborating with engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct assessments of historic materials and liaise with specialists.
  • Manage workload effectively and communicate with clients and contractors.

Requirements: The successful candidate must have experience in heritage and conservation projects, good sketching abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Chartered status and eventual CARE accreditation are encouraged and supported by the company.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
